The Agustí Torelló Mata Brut Reserva is one of the finest cavas made from handpicked Macabeo, Xarel·lo, and Parellada grapes. This pale straw-yellow colored wine is marked by the aromas and flavors of fresh, ripe apples, pears, grape fruit and subtle notes of caramel and citrus. It has a rich and balanced body and very fine, persistent bubbles that slowly evolve in the glass. The grapes are first manually harvested and then fermented at low temperatures, which results in a pure base wine which is then used for the final blend. It is then aged for an appropriate amount of time and then bottled without any additional flavoring, truly bringing out the rich grape notes. The delicate aroma and fresh, well-balanced flavors make it a must have companion for meals with seafood and meat.
